Scuderia Ferrari S.p.A. is the oldest and most successful Formula One team in history. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1947, the team has competed in every world championship since the 1950 season. Ferrari is known for its passionate support base, the tifosi, and the Italian Grand Prix at Monza is considered the team’s home race. As a constructor in Formula One, Ferrari holds the record for the most Drivers’ Championships with 15. Michael Schumacher is the team’s most successful driver, winning five consecutive drivers’ titles and 72 Grands Prix for the team.
Ferrari has also achieved many important victories outside of Formula One, including winning the World Sportscar Championship, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and 24 Hours of Daytona. The team is currently led by drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. The 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix marked Ferrari’s 1000th Grand Prix in Formula One, solidifying the team’s status as a racing legend.
