In an exciting development for motorsport fans, actor Frankie Muniz has announced his commitment to full-time NASCAR competition starting in 2025. The former television star will drive the No. 33 Ford for Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Truck Series, marking a significant step in his racing career.

The 38-year-old actor’s passion for motorsports has been evident throughout his life, with his racing journey beginning long before this announcement. In fact, Muniz’s connection to NASCAR dates back to 2001 when he drove the pace car at the Daytona 500, a race that tragically saw the loss of legendary driver Dale Earnhardt.

Racing Experience and Team Partnership

Team owner Josh Reaume expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “We’re thrilled to welcome Frankie to our team full-time and to expand our relationship with Ford Performance. Their support has been invaluable, and we believe that with Frankie’s passion and our collective momentum from this year, we can make significant strides in the upcoming season.”

Muniz has already gained valuable experience in various racing series, including two starts in the NASCAR Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing this season, as well as appearances in the Xfinity Series, including the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.
