Hadjar to Make His Debut in March
18-year old French driver Isack Hadjar will continue his relationship with Red Bull and Hitech GP for the upcoming Formula 2 season. After an impressive rookie campaign in Formula 3, Hadjar has been given the chance to compete at the highest level of open wheel racing and make his debut in March.
“I am really happy to be part of the Red Bull Junior team and to continue this adventure with Hitech for another year. I hope we can win more races and have a good season together,” said Hadjar.
Hadjar will be joined by American Jak Crawford who is no stranger to Hitech after spending two seasons competing with them in Formula 3. The 17-year-old returns to the fold as he makes his own step up into F2 competition.
Crawford Looking Forward To Racing In F2
The American expressed excitement about returning back to Hitech: “I’m looking forward joining forces once again with Hitech and taking on this challenge together,” he said. “We are both hungry for success.”
“The goal is clear: we want to fight for podiums and victories, that’s why I’m here”. Crawford added.
“It’s great that Isack is also making his way up from F3 – it means we have a lot of experience already working together”. He concluded.
