Lance Stroll is a Canadian-Belgian racing driver known for his victories in various racing championships. He has been driving under the Canadian flag in Formula One since 2017, starting with Williams and now with Aston Martin. Stroll has achieved several notable milestones in his career, including winning the Italian F4 championship in 2014, the Toyota Racing Series championship in 2015, and the 2016 FIA European Formula 3 championship. He was also part of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2010 to 2015.
Stroll made history in 2017 by becoming the second-youngest driver to finish an F1 race on the podium and the youngest to do so during his rookie season. He achieved this feat at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix where he finished third. In 2020, Stroll took his first pole position in Formula One at the Turkish Grand Prix. Apart from F1, Stroll has also competed in endurance racing, participating in the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2016 and 2018.
