Carlos Sainz is a Spanish racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He is the son of Carlos Sainz Sr., a double World Rally Champion. Sainz began his racing career in 2012, competing in the British and European Formula 3 championships for Carlin. He went on to win the championship in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 season while racing for DAMS before moving to F1 with Toro Rosso.
Sainz achieved his maiden podium finish in Formula One at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix, where he finished third. He then moved to McLaren for the 2019 season while ending his contract with Red Bull Racing. Sainz took his first Formula One pole position and career win at the 2022 British Grand Prix. He is known for his exceptional driving skills and has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of motorsports.
