AT04 Passes Crash Tests
AlphaTauri made an announcement that the AT04 chassis has passed all the crash tests required by FIA. The Faenza-based team is looking forward to the 2023 season, hoping that it will help erase their ninth position in the Constructors’ World Championship from last year.
The car will be driven by newly acquired Nyck De Vries and Yuki Tsunoda with ambition to bring back AlphaTauri’s mid-group positions. The technicians are currently assembling the new car, which should make its debut on February 14 during a filming day in Misano Adriatico.
The rest of the team is working hard on launching the new livery during New York Fashion Week on February 11. This is part of a marketing operation to take advantage of F1’s visibility and increase reach for AlphaTauri’s main sponsor, a young fashion brand under Red Bull Group.
F1 Expanding Its Horizons
This serves as proof that F1 can capture American public attention even without technical content directly related to Grand Prix. With Liberty Media at its helm, Circus expands its horizons and takes advantage of its popularity by supporting launch of clothing line with unveiling 2023 livery while waiting for completion of AT04.
